Diane is a lovely host who is highly accommodating. The Cabin is absolutely peaceful, we loved our time here. The Aircon was very welcome and we so enjoyed the hot tub at night staring at the beautiful star display. Diane ensured there was wood and lighters available, all amenities taken care, even a mini first aid kit. Inky, the farm cat adopted us and was a lovely companion throughout our stay. We highly recommend The Cabin.

Lovely Cabin stay with a nice view.Easy access from the N2 close to Sedgefield and Wilderness.Sweet homely touches, especially with the waterbowl for our dog. The bed is comfortable and the aircon great!A nice stop over that is well equipped.

An INCREDIBLE stay at the Cabin! Absolutely stunning views and setting, such a spacious cabin with brilliant amenities. We adored the hottub, an absolute highlight. We cooked our dinner over the firepit (a brilliant gas bbq is supplied too) and enjoyed walking in the peaceful grounds. Huge bed and great rainfall shower. We would absolutely return if in the area. The perfect relaxing retreat, a true highlight of our SA trip!

We loved our stay at Equleni. The cottage was the perfect mix of rustic charm but fully equipped with everything we needed. We only booked one night as we were en route to St Francis, but it's on our list to visit for a longer period, so we can fully unwind and explore. The surroundings were so beautiful and peace. We can't wait to go back.

Hands down one of the best places we have stayed in and I know it depends on what people prefer. But for our family with kids it was great, alot of nature beautiful view from the porch, and excellent customer service from Diane and Griphin. 100% we will be going back at some point.

If you you’re looking for a private, time-out kind of holiday, then this place is for you. Everything was exactly what we needed. The hot tub and swimming pool were amazing. We were sad to leave this little hideaway. It’s so close to town too if you’re wanting things to do. A really amazing find!

We had such a lovely stay in the Wild Bird Cottage. Everything was beautiful and clean. It was lovely to wake up in the mornings to the sound of birds and just completely relax in the wonder of nature. The property manager was easy to get a hold of and eagerly helped with any queries. Mia had a great time on the walks and the dunes, and loved her enclosed garden. Quick drive to the beach and local restaurants. Truly a place to go to just relax and wind down. We will definitely be returning; everything was wonderful.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed three nights of our honeymoon here, and we loved every moment of it - calm, quiet, secluded, private. We 'ordered' the Romantic Turndown, and there was a lot of effort put in to making it an extremely warm and loving welcome. The cabin was fitted out with all of the basics (salt / pepper / cooking oil etc. ), plus a little jar of marshmallows, which was a very warm touch! Thank you team for a wonderful and peaceful escape 🙂

We had an had an amazing stay at Freedrift Cabin! Diane was a great and attentive host, and Freedrift was perfect for a tranquil getaway.We spent most of our time by the fire pit and hot tub area, with the occasional walk around. We definitely recommend a stay for anyone wanting a quiet escape for a few days 🙂

Beautiful place. Will definitely come again. Super helpful and friendly host. The hot tub was fantastic and the fynbos surrounding was stunning. The add on services are really a nice benefit to have to include in your stay. Worth the price.

What a spot. This was the last few nights of a 10 day ramble down the East coast of South Africa. Perfect end to a perfect trip. Diane thinks of every detail that you might need, her communication is exceptional. And OMG that hot tub!

Schon bei der Ankunft hatten wir das Gefühl, das Häusschen ist ein Ort der Ruhe, Gemütlichkeit und Entspannung.Alles ist perfekt eingerichtet und aufeinander abgestimmt. Für jede Tageszeit gibt es einen eigenen Sitzbereich.Viele kleine angenehme Details, wie genug Platz für eigene Dinge, praktische und wertige Küchenausstattung, die sehr sauber war.Der Ausblick im Bad, insbesondere der Ausblick beim Duschen war fantastisch.Die Lage war sehr privat und umgeben von nichts als Natur.Wir haben uns sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt.Der Service vor Ort war hervorragend! Danke an das Team.

Just a wonderful stay! Our cottage was just perfect. The amenities were so fantastic, and little things like having a first aid kit, cleaning products, doggy treats… just the whole way the unit is furnished and kitted out comes across as immensely well thought through. We felt right at home. The hot tub such a treat, but don’t miss out on the beautiful pool area! Our hosts, Matthys and Daleen were so kind and welcoming. What a wonderful, safe and such a peaceful stay!

Very comfortable cosy cottage. The hot tub was of course great and it was also really nice having a barbecue/ sitting at the fire place overlooking the amazing view. The Tuffet had everything you needed for cooking dinner or making a great braai! Would definitely recommend.

It was an amazing experience to stay at Equleni farm. The Wild bird cottage was so wonderful, we felt instantly at home. We also recieved an exposé with a lot of recommendations and tips. In the morning we took a little walk across the estate, I can just recommend it! Overall, it's peaceful, surrounded by nature and absolutely worth it. We would definitely stay there again.

Spent a lovely week with the family and our dog on the farm. We picked this location specifically because of how dog friendly we thought it would be and it was exactly that. On top of that the cabin had everything we needed , was peaceful and comfortable. Diane and her team were extremely helpful and communicative . We’d love to visit again in future.

We loved our stay at Wild Bird Cottage, it was beautiful and perfect for what we needed. My daughter loved the swimming pool and we did the farm walks and braaied in the fire pit. It was comfy, clean and well equipped, very peaceful.

Eine sehr tolle Unterkunft! Man hat ausreichend Platz, eine super Terrasse und eine sehr Naturbelassenen Garten. Man muss sich im klaren sein, dass man etwas abgelegen ist aber das wollten wir auch! Die Küche bietet für den einfachen Gebrauch alles und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Gastgeber gehen sehr schnell auf Fragen ein und sind sehr sehr bemüht! 🫶🏻

NOTE: due to a maintenance issue we have stayed at another accommodation (“the cabin”) on the same farm/premises. Upon arrival we were amazed about the beautiful location and the cabin itself. As mentioned above, we booked the wild bird cottage but eventually we have stayed in ‘the cabin’. The cabin was beautiful and had a lot of space, it was well equipped with everything we needed including a gas BBQ. A nice fire place area and the hot tub made the experience complete.The views are amazing and if you are looking for a tranquil place, we would definitely recommend.

What an amazing little spot. Peaceful, beautiful views from the shaded pool area and great location overall, short drive into town and to the beaches. Our dogs loved the farm and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Other highlights were the fire-pit, walks around the dunes and very well-appointed kitchen.

Diane & Luizen went above and beyond. They had thought of everything (utensils, appliances, extra adaptors, fire starters) and everything worked perfectly. The farm is beautiful, safe, walkable, and quiet and peaceful at night. Loved it!

By far one of my favorite spots I've stayed at in the Garden Route!
It was spacious but also very cozy.
Peaceful and quiet with stunning views and a short drive from Sedgefield.
They really thought of everything one might need to make their stay comfortable and memorable.
I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an all-round wonderful experience.

I had a great time at the Orchard. I needed a place with no stairs and an enclosed garden for my doggies and it was exactly as per pictures. The room has anything you need. I will definitely stay there again if I need too.

Our 2-week South Africa trip was epic, but Equileni Farms was hands-down our favorite stay.. we can’t recommend it enough! Tucked between Wilderness and Knysna, this peaceful paradise stole our hearts with its rolling green hills, wildflowers, and ancient milkwoods. Every view is breathtakingly beautiful.
The Tuffet Room was perfection: cozy, elegant, with a private deck overlooking the serenity. Host Diana is an absolute sweetheart, so accommodating with every request, and she arranged a dreamy hot bath in the pool plus adorable surprises like farm-fresh treats that made it unforgettable.
Griphin, the caretaker, is incredibly kind and helpful, always with a smile. And the furry friends? Adorable dogs and cats who wander over for cuddles, adding pure joy.
