We absolutely loved our stay at The Cabin! It’s the perfect little getaway—so cute, with a stunning view, and it had absolutely everything you could possibly need. The cabin was spotless, cozy, and beautifully set up.

We enjoyed the nearby 2km walk to the bird viewing point and there was also a hike right there—such a bonus for nature lovers. The hot tub was amazing, and the pool was a great spot to cool off and relax.

The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. And then there was Shanty—the sweetest cat ever! She came when called, loved affection, and honestly behaved more like a dog. I completely fell in love—she almost came home with me!

Highly recommend this peaceful and charming spot. Can’t wait to return!

We verbleven in The Cabin. Wat een prachtige accommodatie op een prachtige plek. Lekker bed, heerlijk uitzicht en een leuke wandeling op het terrein. Het leuke Wilderness op een kwartiertje rijden. Aanrader.

Lovely quiet wooden cabin catered with all you could think of! Friendly staff. Secluded from other cabins. We enjoyed scenic walks around the farm. Lovely pool with views of the lake. I can highly recommend it. Our dogs enjoyed it too!

Het was onze 2e keer in de Cabin en hebben er weer enorm van genoten. Magische plek, we hopen weer terug te komen. Dank Diane en team!

what an absolutely fabulous place. Gorgeous setting, comfortable beds, perfect bathrooms, gesellig braai spot, all needed amenities, quiet, private... I wish I'd been able to stay longer

I would love to say our stay was terrible and keep this amazing spot a secret, but it was stunning!

Our short stay was fill of discovery really thoughtful little touches: Easter eggs on bed, calming music playing as arrived, bag of wood complimentary, marshmallows and skewers in cupboard, cold water in fridge etc.

A lovely quiet spot, the perfect place to relax, enjoy sunsets and take advantage of the kolkol.... unit was amply equipped with everything you need and lovely personal touches and is solar.powered so still power during loadshedding. Everything was easy and pleasant !

Awesome cabin, we had an amazing stay. Be sure to keep the doors closed at night if you leave the lights on to avoid having too many bugs inside. Really perfect! Thank you

Awesome place to stay, peaceful and relaxing. We could not find anything wrong with the place. Everything was as described and we recommend booking the extras like breakfast, definitely worth the money.

An amazing getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. The farm is peaceful, private and accessible. The staff are amazing and the facilities and natural surroundings make your stay memorable.

Loved the shower with the glass pane to see nature. Had everything needed. The hot tub took longer than we anticipated - I think just bigger than other ones we had been at. Thank you for a fantastic stay. I would recommend your cottage and would happily stay there again when traveling that way.

What an incredibly peaceful place to escape to! Everything you need for a quiet getaway, but plenty to do and a variety places to explore nearby. The space is well equipped and in a beautiful location. We absolutely loved our stay and Diane was quick to communicate.

We had a wonderful stay at Diane’s place. It is perfectly located to serve as a base for exploring the Garden Route.

I have no words for this beautiful farm! Honestly, such a peaceful area with the most stunning views from all around. We really enjoyed our stay, we even extended another night! This is also such a perfect spot to stay if you traveling with a pet, beautiful walks around the farm with a pond even for them to cool off. We cannot complain about anything! We will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!

We absolutely loved our stay at the wildbird and would definitely recommend it! Diane was very friendly and responsive as well 😊

The cottage is extremely well equipped, neat and welcoming.
We travelled with 2 dogs of which one is a bullterrier. The cottage being fenced, was perfect for our dogs.
The jar of dog biscuits was a sweet touch.
The views are spectacular.

A really amazing stay, for both us and our pup. There’s something special about finding a dog friendly fenced spot that hasn’t compromised your ability to feel like you are still part of natural surroundings. Lovely clean and well stocked cabin, a good location in peaceful surroundings- we will make this a regular stop on our Garden Route meanderings 👌🏻

I had a great time at the Orchard. I needed a place with no stairs and an enclosed garden for my doggies and it was exactly as per pictures. The room has anything you need. I will definitely stay there again if I need too.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mitten in der Natur. Sauber, gut ausgestattet! Ein kleines Paradies! Lediglich das WLAN ist schwach und man sollte keine Angst vor großen Spinnen haben 😅

Wir waren super zufrieden mit der Unterkunft! Die Küche war mehr als nur gut ausgestattet und auch der kleine Garten ist super süß! Die Farm ist total ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Auch der Pool mit Ausblick auf den See ist sehr schön. Die Katzen und Hühner die auf der Farm rumlaufen sind sehr toll!

A beautiful and super well managed accommodation in a peaceful location. Absolutely loved staying there with my boyfriend and we didn't want to leave.

We had a lovely stay on the farm. The evenings by the fireplace were cozy, and the peaceful, quiet mornings were a real highlight. The property offers thoughtful extras like firewood and fire starters, and even services such as laundry and car washing (for a reasonable fee), which we found very convenient during our stay.

There are just two things future guests might want to know in advance:
1. For those who aren’t fans of spiders, we did encounter a few and had to remove about six during our stay.
2. The air conditioning turns off between midnight and 6 a.m. because the external power supply to the cottage is cut during those hours. While it wasn’t an issue for us since the temperature was comfortable, it’s something that would have been good to know beforehand.

Overall, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated the effort put into making the stay comfortable and relaxing!
