The Tuffet is a private, stylish studio nestled in the fynbos with uninterrupted views of the Outeniqua mountains and Rondevlei lake. The cottage has a luxurious king-size bed and ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower overlooking a quaint garden. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Pet-friendly, off the grid, and equipped with a smart air conditioning system, Wi-Fi, TV, Netflix and an indoor fireplace, this cottage has all the luxuries for extra comfort and relaxation.
The Tuffet has its own private cocktail pool/wood-fired hot tub, as well as an outdoor dining area, gas braai and fire pit. Abundant plant and birdlife are right at your doorstep. Listen to bird song while you make your morning coffee. Let your dogs explore the fynbos. Unwind in the pool while the sunset paints the sky or gaze up at the Milky Way on a clear night.
The cottage is a short stroll away from our farm trails and shared pool area where guests can relax and marvel at views of the lake and mountains. Equleni borders the Wilderness National Park, so guests can walk straight from the farm to visit the nearby bird hide or hike along the Cape Dune Molerat Trail.
Absolutely beautiful and peaceful! We loved our time there- lovely atmosphere, wonderful kitchen and beautiful views. The hot tub was also a win, but definitely recommend getting it heated before you arrive. But otherwise, I can’t recommend this place enough!!! Will definitely be coming back soon xx

Absolutely stunning place to stay! My partner and I stayed for 4 nights and we didn’t want to leave. Super comfortable stay. Comfortable and clean bedding, lots of kitchen amenities, clean and modern bathroom, nice lighting and super super private! Beautiful views, serene and quiet, with no sign of any others! Diane was also super responsive to any questions I had!

Thank you Diane - the cottage was very welcoming. The special touch with peaceful music playing when we arrived was lovely. Everything was clean and comfortable. Loved the shower with the glass pane to see nature. Had everything needed. The hot tub took longer than we anticipated - I think just bigger than other ones we had been at. Thank you for a fantastic stay. I would recommend your cottage and would happily stay there again when traveling that way.
