The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a luxurious king-size bed, which can be split into twin beds upon request. The comfy living area has a sleeper couch suitable for two young children. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is private, pet-friendly, off the grid, and equipped with a smart air conditioning system, Wi-Fi, TV and Netflix – all the luxuries you need to enjoy a restful getaway.

The cottage is a short stroll away from our farm trails and shared pool area where guests can relax and enjoy views of the lake and mountains. Equleni borders the Wilderness National Park, so guests can walk straight from the farm to visit the nearby bird hide or hike along the Cape Dune Molerat Trail.
We had such a wonderful stay. The hot tub and views were amazing. The cottage had everything we could need and more and so peaceful. Highly recommended, would absolutely stay again.

Awesome little place! It was a little close to one of the other accommodations on the property, but all in all amazing place and beautiful trails.The hot tub was AWESOME!

Free Drift at Equleni Farm is a wonderful retreat. After two nights there we feel well rested and at peace.We made the most of the Dune Walk and our dogs loved swimming at the Elephant Pond. Bordering the Rondevlei Nature Reserve is so convenient, you can walk to the hide and to the Dune MoleRat trail which starts there.A short drive into Wilderness or Sedgfield for multiple dog-friendly eating out options.Griphin is a wonderful help - made sure the hot-tub was warm for us each evening (optional extra).Although pet-friendly, please note that the cottage is not fenced and on a property with other dogs, chickens and cats. They are very clear about this when you look at and book the listing, however, this meant tethering our one dog on a long leash if we wanted to be able to relax and not worry about where she was an how far she'd "roamed", and if she was bothering other guests. It did not take away from our trip at all as we all enjoyed the freedom of the dune walks provided!

The place was beautiful and exceeded our expectations, neat linen, clean bathroom and kitchen. The lounge area had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the hot tub and the Braai area, and the WiFi connectivity was excellent too

We had a really nice stay at the farm. It was a great location in a beautiful part of the Western Cape and the place itself was also really nice and well equipped.
