Diane‘s cottage is just fantastic!!! Her place was the best and nicest of all stays during our trip along the Garden Route. The place is immaculate. The views on the lake and mountains is breathtaking and the pool area is perfect to chill out.

Victoria – A great place for dogs
The cabin is set in beautiful grounds overlooking the vlei and is exactly as it appears in the photos! The interior is beautifully styled and fully equipped – we were two couples (and a dog) and there was plenty of space for us all. Would definitely recommend staying here – a great place for dogs too – and hopefully will visit again soon!

I am so pleased to have discovered Equleni! It offers a haven of peace and tranquility in a suite that is beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful extras. Spectacular views and sunsets all contributed to a wonderful breakaway, made all the more special by the warm hospitality of the owners. Really dog friendly too – big bonus!!

Diane is an excellent host, with her attention to detail evident in the fresh milk, filter coffee ☕ , fresh juice, hot chocolate, Easter eggs and small and large marshmallows provided on our arrival. All condiments and necessities were provided for our convenience.
