We found this gem on the way down to Cape Town and our only regret is that we didn’t plan to stay longer. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and beautifully done, with a large wooden cabin / deck facing directly onto a lake. A huge bonus for us was that it’s pet friendly so our two dogs could come along, with access to great walking routes right outside your front door. Dianne was extremely responsive and very welcoming. An excellent option on the Garden Route if you’re looking for something quiet and relaxing away from the busy tourist areas, but still within easy striking distance of the best the Garden Route has to offer.
What a treat. The beautifully appointed bedroom and living space, in a tranquil and peaceful setting on a farm, with a view across the vlei, and close to Sedgefield and the main beaches. What more could one possibly want or need? Thank you Ant and Diane for your awesome hospitality.
Some of the incredible original artworks that we are privileged to display at Equleni Guest House. These beautiful cows painted by famous local artist Lindsay Page remind us that Equleni was once a dairy farm.
A beautiful getaway nestled in the heart of the Garden Route. The peace of farm living combined with the convenience of Knysna, George, Sedgefield & Wilderness on your doorstep. Modern and luxurious with egyptian cotton sheets, extra length kingsize beds, unlimited wifi and Netflix in all rooms. Each room has a private balcony with sun loungers overlooking the Outeniqua mountains and Rondevlei and Lanvgvlei lakes. A bird watchers paradise, bordering San Parks with fish eagles nesting close by and Flamingos annually visiting the lake. Spend your days, hiking, para-sailing, canoeing or enjoying one of our incredible beaches. Spend your evenings sitting around a log fire listening to nature or having dinner in one of the wonderful local establishments. The Garden Route really does have it all.
