Free-Drift – One-bedroom Cottage

Free-Drift is a one-bedroom cottage with extraordinary views of undulating fynbos hills, Rondevlei lake and Outeniqua mountains. The bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a luxurious king-size bed, which can be split into twin beds upon request. The comfy living area has a sleeper couch suitable for two young children. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The cottage is private, pet-friendly, off the grid, and equipped with a smart air conditioning system, Wi-Fi, TV and Netflix – all the luxuries you need to enjoy a restful getaway.

Free-Drift has its own private wood-fired hot tub, fire pit and deck with an outdoor dining area and a gas braai. Watch the stillness of nature from the comfort of your bed while drinking your morning coffee. Let your dogs run through the fynbos and watch your children play in nature. Soak in the hot tub and marvel at glorious sunset scenes. Relax around the fire and braai under the Milky Way.

The cottage is a short stroll away from our farm trails and shared pool area where guests can relax and enjoy views of the lake and mountains. Equleni borders the Wilderness National Park, so guests can walk straight from the farm to visit the nearby bird hide or hike along the Cape Dune Molerat Trail.
